Cinnamon Roasted Peaches

I can’t tell you how happy I am to be home in time for the end of peach season.

Peaches! Sweet, juicy, glorious peaches!

Sure they’re fantastic on their own, but you know what’s better than a peach? A roasted peach.

Roasted perfection

Roasting peaches allows all the sugar to caramelize, making your favourite peach juicier, sweeter, better.

I will tell you that it’s dangerous though – having that many warm peaches right in front of you makes it verrrrry easy to suddenly eat 5 peaches. Not that that’s a huge issue, but you know. A bit expensive.

1-1000 peaches (or however many peaches you want to serve right now)

sprinkle of cinnamon

healthy pinch of brown sugar

sprinkle of salt

Ready for roasting

Preheat oven to 400 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Slice peaches in half, and remove the stone. Place cut side up on baking sheet and sprinkle with brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon.

Roast 15-20 minutes, until nicely caramelized.

Serve with ice cream for best results.
